Culture Honey is excited to let our readers know about an innovative new Self-Care Workshop coming up in Pasadena, California on October 18th & 19th, 2024! The workshop will be led by psychotherapist Heidi Pidcoke and physical therapist Chantal Donnelly. Do you feel stuck & overwhelmed? Would you like to increase your capacity to respond to stress and feel more at ease in your day-to-day life?

This Self-Care Workshop entitled, “Settled” after the book of the same name penned by Chantal Donnelly will take place at All Saints Church at 132 N Euclid Ave, 91101. The workshop will run from 10am to 5:30pm both days and will offer tools and techniques to create new neural pathways and to develop a deeper sense of wellbeing and happiness.

This workshop is for you if you are/have:

  • Going through a transition (marriage, divorce, parenthood, career change etc…)
  • Struggling with lack of confidence
  • Chronic pain/illness
  • Relationship problems or loneliness
  • Parent who wants to be more regulated and grounded with their children
  • Constant mental chatter, rumination, or anxiety.
  • Indecision around both important and trivial choices
  • Feeling unmotivated
  • Easily overwhelmed
  • Lack of energy
  • Insomnia (waking at 2 or 3 am and unable to return to sleep)
  • Digestion problems
  • Addictive behaviors
  • Excessive worrying
  • Focus or memory problems
  • Unwanted flooding of sensations and emotions
  • Feeling disconnected or shut down
  • A pervasive sense of lack of safety

Lowering your stress and staying more frequently in a regulated state can lead to:

This interactive, experiential, and soul-filling, 2-day retreat will highlight Pidcoke’s international work in healing and trauma, as well as gems from Donnelly’s book, SETTLED: How to Find Calm in a Stress Inducting World.
