The spring rains have ensured the greens of the Paris gardens. Jardin de Tuileries, originally a desire of the Queen Catherine de’ Medici and created in 1564, is now treasured by our citizens and is patiently maintained by a team of gardeners. It offers a peaceful haven for 14 million pedestrians who traverse its 22.4 hectares annually.
